Questions we often hear
Process, packages, law and data protection: the answers at a glance. If your question is missing, write to us.
Process & deployment
On the Costa del Sol between Málaga and Sotogrande, based in Marbella. We plan deployments in other regions of Andalusia and in Austria on request.
Planned flights within a week, damage documentation after storms within 72 hours, depending on weather and permits.
We do not fly in storms, heavy rain or fog. We reschedule to the next weather window and inform you in advance; this costs you nothing.
The FANTM 4TD for inspection, thermography, surveying and security, the FANTM Avata 360 exclusively for promotion and film. Details on the fleet page.
Yes. FANTM is an EU-registered UAS operator, fully insured and GDPR-compliant. We provide proof on request.
As a download package in the agreed formats, with the report as a PDF. On request we hand the data directly to your planner, surveyor or property manager.
Packages & proposal
Three tiers per industry: the base for a clearly defined task, the extension with thermography or recurring flights, the full programme with dedicated support, priority scheduling and, where it fits, promotion.
No. You describe the property and the goal, we recommend the right tier. Tiers can be combined and extended at any time.
Area, frequency, access and scope of work determine the effort. You receive a tailored proposal within two working days, on request with a limited pilot phase.
Not for one-off packages. We agree recurring programmes with a cadence and a term that suit your property.
Law & data protection
No. Our flight plans are geofenced to your property and to lawful airspace. Sensors are oriented within your grounds. Any incidental capture of adjoining properties is avoided by design, and, should it occur, removed before archiving.
You do. Access is governed by role-based permissions and named users only. FANTM operators access footage strictly to conduct or review the mission you have commissioned. Nothing is shared with third parties without your written instruction.
By default, operational recordings are retained for thirty days, then automatically deleted. Longer retention is available on written request, for example, in support of an active investigation, and is documented in your Data Processing Agreement.
Yes. We operate under EASA and Spanish AESA regulation with the appropriate category authorisations. Where a specific site or mission requires additional coordination, a controlled airspace, a coastal zone, a night flight, we obtain it in advance.
At operational altitude our platforms are effectively inaudible from the terrace or the pool. There is no branding, no spectacle, no signage. Most clients report their guests never notice the service is running.
The drone verifies. In the majority of alarm calls, the cause is benign, wildlife, weather, a delivery. A verified false alarm is closed quietly, logged, and never escalated. You are informed only when there is genuinely something to inform you of.
Communities & property managers
No, on the contrary. We rent out drone technology and flight services and work in cooperation with your development's licensed security provider, which takes all security-relevant decisions. Security services within the meaning of Ley 5/2014 are provided exclusively by licensed security companies.
Yes, under clear conditions: a classified platform, trained pilots, registration of urban flights with the competent authorities and release of the overflown areas. Communal areas are released by your Comunidad, private plots only by the respective owner.
The programme follows the criteria of the Spanish data protection authority AEPD: firmly defined flight corridors, data minimisation, signage of the development, defined deletion periods and a clear division of roles in which the Comunidad remains the controller and FANTM acts as processor.
The programme is calculated as a rental model and depends on area, frequency and scope. After a community assessment you receive a tailored proposal, on request with a limited pilot phase.
Today, certified pilots fly every mission. Fully automatic operation from stationary docking stations is in preparation; communities in an active programme are added to the waiting list on request.
Yes. Thermography, roof and facade inspections, surveying and all other services remain available, with priority scheduling for communities in the programme. You will find an overview under Further services.
