Thermal & Night Surveillance

See in the dark, before it happens

Overview

Radiometric thermal imaging and night vision reveal what darkness, foliage and distance conceal, a person behind a hedge, a warm engine, a presence long before the eye could catch it.

Heat cannot hide. The FANTM 4TD's thermal camera detects the warmth of a body or a vehicle in complete darkness, while NIR illumination and Night Scene mode keep visual detail sharp. Threats are seen early, when there is still time to act calmly.

The conventional way
  • Fixed cameras blinded by darkness
  • Blind spots behind hedges and walls
  • Presence noticed only when it arrives
  • Guards sent to check the unknown
FANTM · The considered way
  • Radiometric thermal in complete darkness
  • NIR + Night Scene keeping detail sharp
  • Presence detected at distance, early
  • Verified from the air before anyone moves

In practice

FANTM 4TD, sight after dark

A 640 × 512 radiometric thermal sensor pairs with NIR illumination and low-light modes for a single-pass assessment of any perimeter, day or night.

  • 640 × 512 radiometric thermal detection
  • Near-infrared illumination + Night Scene mode
  • Heat signatures at range, before contact
  • Thermal Sight

A 640 × 512 radiometric sensor detects heat signatures in total darkness.

  • Night Scene & NIR

Near-infrared illumination and low-light modes keep detail crisp after dark.

  • Early Warning

Presence is detected at distance, long before it reaches the house.

Moonless night, an estate backing onto open scrubland. To the eye, and to the fixed cameras, the boundary was a wall of black. The thermal camera picked out two figures crouched at the fence line 120 metres out; a spotlight and a voice warning were enough. They never came closer.
